The price of OTC hearing aids are expected to be significantly lower than that of prescription hearing aids.

What is the difference between mild, moderate, and severe hearing impairment?

According to the CDC, mild to moderate hearing impairment means hearing some to almost no speech sounds when the speaker is talking at a normal volume. Severe hearing impairment means hearing no speech sounds when the speaker is talking, as well as only some loud sounds.
